| Published fees | Maya’s cash-in page says partners it selects take cash-in at no charge until PHP 8,000 per month combined, after which 2 per cent applies on the excess. Because that figure, taken from Maya’s own site, was not re-fetched during verification, it carries less weight than the GCash schedule above, which was read directly. |
Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The ceiling GCash states is a balance held at any given time. However often a side-by-side comparison of the two numbers is presented, it is not meaningful, because they measure different things.
Everything shown here is a snapshot, recorded 2026-09. Limits and fees can change at a provider’s end with no warning, so only the provider’s own page shows what applies now.
What Maya says about gambling transactions
No clause on gambling shows up once Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions are read directly; the only provisions are general prohibitions on illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. The terms of its CREDIT CARD, a separate product, do list ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’ as a restricted transaction and give suspension or cancellation of the card as the stated consequence. In August 2025, BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 also applied to Maya, which responded by removing in-app gambling and gaming links. The two products are different, and that matters, because a restriction in a credit card agreement does not restrict the wallet.
How fast money actually moves
Maya settles instantly for wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers, and by the end of the same banking day for PESONet. The rail is what that describes, not the casino: before a withdrawal ever arrives at Maya, an operator may hold it for its own review, and most of the waiting time usually comes from that review.
A per-transaction cap of At the Upgraded tier, PHP 20,000 per transaction applies to sending to another Maya user, and PHP 50,000 per day applies to InstaPay transfers out applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
